Lights out: Altar of Plagues

Thanks for all of the love and hate this week.

We had anticipated some criticism but, from the accusations of Masonic content to homophobic remarks, expectations have been far exceeded.

And to the people ostentatiously labelling our work as ‘hipster’ – you are worse than the so called ‘hipsters’ you seem to hate so much, whomever they may be.

With the first single of their  fourth album, Teethed Glory and Injury, Altar of Plagues surely kicks some black metal purists that were left in their following in their teeth. It sure is something else, and I for one think progression is a good thing. And the direction isn’t very strange when you know these guys a little.
