Drvg Cvltvre – Hypnotic doom disco from the Netherlands

Just found out Vincent Koreman (artistic director of Incubate) has yet another musical output, next to RA-X, Sonido Del Principe, White River and what not. This one’s called Drvg Cvltvre, (with the kvlt blekk metal v, borrowed from the Romans, so you may pronounce it as drug culture), and it’s in line with all of those previous projects actually: ritual sounds that are hypnotic and driving at the same time.

So there’s the dark ambient sounds of RA-X, the swing of Sonido Del Principe and the ritual percussion of White River. He calls it doomdisco, and it definitely has something for those of you looking for new witch house, drag, zombie rave, rape gaze, etc., sounds.

Check it out:

And there’s more where this came from.

Made me think of one of the sweetest discoveries of 2010: ///Polaroids\\\.
