For some reason I can’t help but to think that when I know something, or have seen something, everyone else has seen it as well. This is not true of course, but it is some kind of built-in preconsumption I guess. Maybe that’s why people call some things ‘old’ when in fact for some the same information could as well be new.
In light of those thoughts I will post some of Zdzisław Beksiński‘s paintings this week. I love the atmosphere he creates whith his use of colour and subject. I will post a bit more later in the week, so to go for some kind of context, this first one will show some landscape0like works of him.
